$13.95

Jim Maynard’s Celestial Influences is an essential astrological reference. Opening to 12″ X 18,” it's the calendar to hang on your wall. The zodiac months are highlighted with a color tinted background and the zodiac illustrations are in full color.

Celestial Influences includes a basic introduction to astrology. It gives easy-to-understand explanations for the Moon, including void of course information, and the influences of the Moon as it travels through the different zodiac signs and phases. The signs of the zodiac are described in detail, and a complete summary is given for each of the major planets and the influences of their interactions with each other.

Celestial Influences also includes an ephemeris with tinted backgrounds that highlight when planets are retrograde. It also has a colorful chart of the motions of the planets throughout 2010, a table of sunrises and sunsets, details about eclipses during the year, a description of the meaning and influences of the Asteroids, and an asteroid ephemeris.

A list of occultations, meteor showers, times of the Moon's phases, perigee, and apogee, the Sun's perigee and apogee, and passages of periodic comets are also included in this calendar.

The square box for each date shows the Moon's sign, when it goes void-of-course, and when it changes signs. Below this information, the major aspects, planetary ingresses, and planetary stations are listed. Holidays and special events, such as meteor showers or Solstices and Equinoxes, names and birth dates of notable people are also listed for each day. Times given are adjusted for Daylight Saving Time, where appropriate.

Calendar pages for January through April 2011 are included.

9 x 12 inches, unfolding to 12 x 18 inches, 48 pages, includes an ephemeris for the planets and asteroids.  ISBN Eastern: 978-1-935482-00-0     Pacific: 978-1-935482-01-7        $12.95
